This 12-week course, 2014 National Electrical Code – Electrical Plan Review (E3), will introduce students to the fundamental code requirements for proper installation of electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. This test preparation class will provide students with a firm foundation of electrical equipment, materials, various calculations for voltage drop, service sizing, and proper branch circuit sizing, and motor loads which will assist the student in gaining the knowledge necessary to take the Electrical Plan Review Certification Exam offered by the International Code Council (ICC). The instructor will identify and discuss general requirements of installations, services, bonding and grounding, wiring methods, hazardous locations, health care, swimming pools and more.
The class will also include an array of practice tests, and multiple timed comprehensive exams and an expanded guide of applicable code sections pertinent for the final exam. All Students will be encouraged to test for ICC Electrical Plan Review Certification. (E3).
